BKS CELEBRATE RAKSHA BANDHAN WITH JAIL INMATES

The Sriganganagar center of Brahma Kumaris organized a special Raksha Bandhan program at the Central Jail, Sriganganagar. B.K. Usha Didi along with B.K. Mani Ram Bhai, Ritu, Suraj Bhai, Swati, Sunita, Kanchan, and Lalitya, tied Rakhis to the inmates and shared a message of spiritual awakening. 

(SUBHEAD)The program commenced in the gracious presence of Jail Superintendent Abhishek Sharma. B.K. Mani Ram Bhai explained the profound spiritual significance of Raksha Bandhan, stating, “Raksha Bandhan is not merely a familial celebration but a festival of spiritual awakening. The true meaning of the Rakhi is to recognize oneself as a soul and protect oneself from the five vices—lust, anger, greed, attachment, and ego—while establishing a true and deep connection with the Divine.” 

The program included tying Rakhis to all inmates, both male and female, and serving sweets, making it a memorable and uplifting experience. The event was appreciated by all attendees for its unique approach, highlighting the Brahmakumaris' efforts to connect every section of society through spirituality Ascetic spirituality and positivity.
