ARMED FORCES INTER SERVICES SQUASH CHAMPIONSHIP 2025: INDIAN NAVY WINS

The Armed Forces Inter Services Squash Championship 2025-26, held at Base Repair Depot Air Force Chandigarh, from August 10-14, 2025, concluded with the Indian Navy emerging as the winner in the team event. The championship, inaugurated by Air Commodore Nipun Gupta, Air Officer Commanding, Base Repair Depot Chandigarh, saw participation from four teams: Army Red, Army Green, Air Force, and Indian Navy.

The final match, played on August 14, showcased exceptional skill and sportsmanship between the teams of Indian Navy and Indian Air Force, with the Navy team winning 2-1. This championship aimed to select the best players to represent the Services Squash Team in the upcoming National Squash Championship, fostering camaraderie, discipline, and excellence among the Armed Forces.

The victory marks a significant achievement for the Indian Navy's squash team, demonstrating their prowess and dedication to the sport. The Inter Services Squash Championship serves as a platform for promoting sports excellence and teamwork among the Armed Forces, highlighting the commitment of the Services to nurturing talent and promoting a culture of fitness and competition.

Winner: Indian Navy

Runner Up: Indian Air Force

Score Card: Indian Navy beat Indian Air Force by 2-1.
