CBI APPREHENDED TWO INSPECTORS OF CENTRAL BUREAU OF NARCOTICS LUCKNOW AND NURSING HOME OWNER IN 10 LAC BRIBERY CASE

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has apprehended two Inspectors of Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN), Lucknow and the owner of a Private Nursing Home in a Rs. 10 Lakh Bribery Case. 

CBI registered the instant case on 26.08.2025 against the two accused Inspectors of Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN), Lucknow, namely Mahi Pal, Ravi Ranjan,  three private persons (including the owner of a Private Nursing Home) Gyasudin Amhed of Deva Nursing Home, 11624, Sector-|, Jankipuram, Kursi Road, Lucknow,  Kakub S/o Sh. Gayasuddin Ahmad, Owner of Deva Nursing Home,  Sunil Jaiswal, Private Person and one another person,  based on the information from reliable source that the accused Inspectors, Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN), Lucknow and unknown others are indulging in corrupt practices by demanding undue advantage from the owner of a private Nursing Home, Lucknow by threatening to implicate him in a false case for procuring a restricted drug. 

During the course of subsequent proceedings, Rs.10 lakhs paid as bribe by the owner of a Private Nursing Home to the accused officers of Central Bureau of Narcotics has been recovered. Both the accused Inspectors of CBN alongwith the bribe giver,(owner of a Private Nursing Home)have been apprehended. 

Further proceedings are in progress.
