RAJASTHAN HC JUSTICE MANOJ KUMAR GARG INSPECTS JUVENILE HOME IN SRI GANGANAGAR

Justice Manoj Kumar Garg, Chairman of Juvenile Justice Committee, Rajasthan High Court, Jodhpur inspected the Juvenile Home in Sriganganagar.  

While reviewing the cases of the Juvenile Justice Board, the Judge gave instructions to dispose of the pending cases immediately. 

Justice Garg motivated the children to lead a disciplined lifestyle through meditation and education and also advised them to do regular yoga practice and stay away from drugs for the development of moral values. 

Assistant Director of Child Rights Department Renu Khairwa and Superintendent of State Communication and Juvenile Home Rajiv Jakhar told the visiting Judge that the resident children have been connected for school education through Open Board and activities like computer education, yoga practice etc. are being conducted for them. 

Information was given about the crib and baby home established in the Government Communication Home and a discussion was held regarding adoption. Information was also taken about the working system of the Child Welfare Committee, Juvenile Justice Board and Child Helpline-1098 operating in the Government Home. 

The cleanliness of the home premises and the facilities of clean drinking water and shed for the visitors were also inspected, along with this Justice Garg also planted Tulsi plants in the premises. 

Secretary of District Legal Services Authority Ravi Prakash Suthar, Principal Magistrate of Juvenile Justice Board Maheshwari Barod, Child Welfare Committee member Anand Marwal, Dr. Ram Prakash Sharma, Juvenile Justice Board member Vikas Saraswat were present.
