Divanshu Bhateja of Abohar has also been decorated with the President Award in scouting. His father Sumesh Bhateja was also honoured with the President Award in 1987, as a scout.

Divanshu was welcomed with garlands as returned after attending a ceremony organized by Bharat Scouts and Guides in New Delhi, where he was honored with the President Award. He was warmly welcomed by his family besides President Award recipient former District Scouts Guides trainer Darshan Lal Chugh, Lions Club Region Chairperson Sham Lal Arora, District Training Commissioner Suresh Jagga, Government Teachers Union patron Bhagwant Bhateja and others.
