SRIGANGANAGAR ARCHERS WIN 18 MEDALS IN STATE CHAMPIONSHIP

In the prestigious Rajasthan Senior Archery Championship held in Neemrana (Alwar), archers from Sriganganagar showcased exceptional talent, clinching 13 gold, 4 silver, and 1 bronze medal, establishing Sriganganagar as a frontrunner in archery. 

The men’s compound team, comprising Pulkit Kajla, Prabal Pratap, Yash Nain and Jasmeet Singh displayed remarkable coordination to secure a gold medal. In the Indian Round individual event, Gurjit Singh claimed a silver medal with precise marksmanship. In the recurve women’s individual event, Amandeep Kaur won a silver reinforcing the district’s dominance in the women’s category. The recurve mixed team of Dilip Regar and Amandeep Kaur also bagged a silver medal.

 The recurve women’s team, consisting of Amandeep Kaur, Kalpana, and Harpreet Kaur delivered an outstanding performance to win a gold medal. The Indian Round men’s team, including Gurjit Singh, Devendra Singh, Vicky, and Jasdeep Singh, showcased unity and skill to secure another gold medal. In the recurve ranking round, Amandeep Kaur once again proved her mettle by winning a gold medal. Rekha added to the district’s tally by clinching a bronze medal in the Indian elimination round. 

Manju Verma, Secretary of the District Archery Association said that upon the victorious team’s arrival at Sriganganagar Railway Station this morning, they were warmly welcomed with garlands and applause.
