Cadets from the 25 Punjab Battalion NCC, Abohar, demonstrated exemplary service in aiding flood-affected communities at the Grain Mandi Ladhuka Relief Centre. Under the coordination of a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) from the unit, the NCC cadets efficiently responded to the needs of the relief centre.

22 Senior Wing (SW) and 1 Senior Division (SD) cadets from MR College led by Associate NCC Officer (ANO) Lt Ram Singh and supported by Permanent Instructor Subedar Varinder Kumar, carried out critical relief activities. The cadets provided essential eatables, including rice, dal, sugar, oil, tea, juices, biscuits, and rusks, to meet the immediate nutritional needs of affected villagers.

Beyond distributing supplies, the cadets assisted in relief management by helping families transport supplies and ensuring smooth distribution of food at the centre. They also engaged with the villagers, offering encouragement and boosting morale during this challenging time.

The efforts highlight the vital role of youth in supporting civil authorities during emergencies, showcasing their commitment to community service and disaster response.
