H.E. Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Chairman and CEO of DP World and Chairman of the Ports, Customs & Free Zone Corporation, along with his son Ghanim Bin Sulayem, visited the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi, spending nearly two hours.
Swami Brahmavihari warmly thanked H.E. Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem for standing with the Mandir’s creation at every step.
H.E. Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem said, “I am honored that we came. I am honored that we participated in a small part of this amazing creation. Seeing what I saw today is so different from last time. This place is special because even the selection of its location was inspired. His Highness knew this would be the best place.”
“The time when I came with you earlier, the Mandir was not yet finished. You told me about what would come — a wall built using the highest technology of 3D printing, immersive screens, and intricate designs. I could understand then but I could not visualize it. Today, to see it complete — it is amazing.”
“The carvings are extraordinary — unmatched in this time and age, in their depth and detail. They bring alive civilizations and histories: from King Suleiman, to Indian epics, to cultures in Latin America and China.
“Let me say, harmony did not start with H.H. Sheikh Zayed — it was carried by his father, his grandfather, and ancestors before him. H.H. Sheikh Mohammed and his father carried this same legacy.”
