Rising youth leader and social worker Yogesh Chaudhary from Milakpur village, Pataudi-Mandi Municipal Council, Gurugram, has brought immense pride to Haryana by receiving the prestigious “My Bharat NSS National Award 2025” from the Hon’ble President of India.

Selected among over 4 million NSS volunteers nationwide, Yogesh is one of only 30 young Indians chosen for this national honour in recognition of his extraordinary contribution to nation-building, youth empowerment, environmental protection, and the Nasha-Mukt Bharat (Drug-Free India) campaign.

Starting his journey as a student volunteer at Indira Gandhi University, Rewari, Yogesh has spent the past eight years leading impactful initiatives in environmental conservation, blood and organ donation drives, women’s safety, youth empowerment, and COVID-19 relief efforts.

He is also the founder of Youth Socialgram Foundation, a growing national platform connecting over 5,000 youth from 18 Indian states who are working collectively towards building a self-reliant and drug-free India. Across Haryana, and especially in Pataudi, this achievement has sparked celebrations with Tiranga Yatras, fireworks, and sweets distribution. Locals describe it as a historic moment for the region, as Yogesh has become the youngest Presidential Awardee from South Haryana.

Yogesh humbly dedicated this national honour to his parents, teachers, mentors, and fellow youth volunteers, saying: “When I began social service through NSS, I never imagined this day would come. This award is not just mine—it belongs to every young Indian who wants to make a positive change in society.”

Community members and youth leaders across India have hailed Yogesh as a role model and an emerging youth icon whose vision and leadership are inspiring the next generation. His dedication reflects the spirit of a new India led by responsible and socially active youth. Yogesh will return to his hometown on October 12, where a grand felicitation ceremony will be organized by the people of his region in his honour.
