HUNDREDS OF STUDENTS DISPLAY TALENT, TRADITIONAL SKILLS

On the second day of the PU Zonal Youth and Heritage Festival 2025, organized for Zone B Colleges of Education affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh at the D.A.V. College of Education, Abohar, competitions such as mime, mimicry, buffoonery, one-act play, histrionics, elocution, debate, poem recitation, proverbial dialogue, and heritage competitions were held.

Hundreds of students displayed their talent and traditional skills to the accolade of the audience. D.A.V. College of Education, Abohar, won first place in skit, histrionics, poem recitation, mimicry, Chhikku making, Basket making, Peedhi making, Innu making, Paranda making, mehndi making, and Dasuti embroidery.

(SUBHEAD)D.M. College of Education, Moga, Dev Samaj College of Education and Dashmesh College of Education, Badal also performed brilliantly in various competitions, winning several prizes.

The program was successfully conducted under the leadership of Ajay Khosla, coordinator Dr. Harpreet Kaur, and YAS members Dr. Mandeep Kaur, Sushila, and Jatinder Kaur.

Officiating Principal Dr. Vijay Grover said that the Youth Festival is an excellent medium to hone the multifaceted talents of students. He said that our students are excelling not only in academics but also in cultural and heritage activities, which is a matter of pride.
