A grand launch ceremony of the monthly newspaper, Jan Dastak, was held here. Dr. Sanman Mazi provided information about the publication of Jan Dastak and Mela magazines, and the re-launch of Jan Dastak. Following this, the newly released, beautifully designed, 8-page monthly newspaper, Jan Dastak, was released by the founding members of the Lok Rang Manch and literary figures.
Chief Editor Rajinder Mazi said that Jan Dastak, dedicated to the Punjabi language, will not only highlight literary activities in the region, but will also include works by new writers and cultural news. Prof. Tarsem Sharma discussed the mission, history, and importance of Jan Dastak in the region. Senior physician Dr. Naveen Sethi congratulated the publication of the monthly newspaper and expressed hope that it will continue to serve the mother language.
Dr. Gurraj Singh Chahal and Dr. Sarabjit Kundal also extended their best wishes to Jan Dastak. Hardeep Dhillon, Atma Ram Ranjan, Satnam Singh, Advocate Ravinder Singh Gill, and others presented their poems. Gurmeet Singh Bath thanked everyone. Comrade Wazir Chand, Navtej Singh Chahal, Advocate Tejinder Singh Khalsa, Ajay Nagpal, Sanjay Chanana, Vikas Batra, Aman Arman, Advocate Sukhjit Singh, Sandeep Sharma, Manjit Ubhi, Bhupinder Utreja and Sukhdev Singh were also present.
