CM AND KEJRIWAL PAY OBEISANCE AT GURDWARA TAKHT SRI KESGARH SAHIB, GURDWARA SHEESHGANJ SAHIB AND GURDWARA BHORA SAHIB

THANK THE ALMIGHTY FOR GIVING THEM ENORMOUS STRENGTH TO PASS HISTORIC RESOLUTION OF DECLARING THREE TAKHTS AS HOLY CITIES

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and National Convener of AAP Arvind Kejriwal on Monday paid obeisance at Gurdwara Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib, Gurdwara Sheeshganj Sahib and Gurdwara Bhora Sahib to thank the Almighty for giving them enormous strength to pass historic resolution of declaring three Takhts as holy cities. 

Immediately after passing the resolution to officially declare walled city of Amritsar, Talwandi Sabo and Sri Anandpur Sahib as holy city, the Chief Minister and National Convener of AAP said with all humility that Almighty had bestowed his bountiful blessings on us to accomplish this gigantic task, which was ultimately a result of service towards the humanity. Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Singh Mann said that they have come here to express gratitude to the Almighty for giving them enormous strength to accomplish this prestigious project. They said that God had bestowed service (sewa) on them which none else had ever thought in the last so many decades. 

The Chief Minister and National Convener of AAP said that concerted efforts of the state government in this regard, were to perpetuate the glorious and rich legacy of our great culture especially amongst the younger generations so as to enable them to connect with their roots. He categorically said that those nations who tend to forget their cultural past and heritage were bound to vanish with the passage of time. Henceforth, Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Singh Mann said that it was our bounden duty to preserve our rich cultural heritage for the future generations till eternity. 

The Chief Minister further said that this unique endeavor of the Punjab Government will go a long way in preserving the architectural, cultural and historical heritage of the state. Likewise, they said that it will go a long way in ensuring comprehensive development of these holy cities which are the epicenter of our rich culture and heritage. Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Singh Mann expressed hope that this decision will serve as a shining beacon of humanity to every member of the human race inhabiting the state.
