Dr. Mohit Tantia, Chairperson of Tantia University Sriganganagar, paid a courtesy call on President Droupadi Murmu and invited her to visit Sriganganagar.

Dr. Tantia, is perhaps the first person from the Sriganganagar-Hanumangarh region to have received an invitation for visiting Rashtrapati Bhawan at such a young age. During the detailed discussion, Dr. Mohit Tantia shared insights into the resilience of the people living in the villages and towns along the Indo-Pakistan border. The President also engaged in a cordial conversation with Dr. Tantia, showing keen interest in understanding the culture, heritage, and challenges of the Sriganganagar region.

Dr. Vikas Sachdeva, General Manager of the Tantia Group, said that before meeting the President, Dr. Mohit Tantia was also given a tour of Rashtrapati Bhavan, which gave him an opportunity to understand the functioning, protocol, and system of the country's highest official office. Dr. Tantia respectfully presented the President with a Phulkari embroidery piece made by women trained at the free sewing center run by the Skill Development Department of Tantia University, along with a loving sculpture of a cow and a calf drinking milk.

On this occasion, Khagan Murmu, Lok Sabha MP from Maldaha Uttar (WB), was also present. He was impressed by Dr. Tantia's humility and wished him a bright future. Dr. Tantia invited the President to visit Sriganganagar and informed her about the social welfare projects undertaken by the Tantia Group, which Mrs. Murmu appreciated.
