Welcoming the investment, Cabinet Minister for Industries & Commerce, Investment Promotion, Power and NRI Affairs, Punjab, Shri Sanjeev Arora, said: “The decision of Amber Group to set up a large-scale R&D Centre at Rajpura with an investment of ₹500 crore is a strong endorsement of Punjab’s progressive industrial policies, skilled manpower and investor-friendly ecosystem. This project will create around 1,000 high-quality, well-paid jobs and significantly strengthen Punjab’s position in advanced engineering and product design.”Amber Group of Industries is a leading diversified manufacturing conglomerate with 33 manufacturing facilities and 12 sales offices in India and overseas, having an annual revenue of around ₹10,000 crore and a market capitalisation of approximately ₹27,000 crore. We look forward to working closely with the Government of Punjab as we strengthen India’s position in the global HVAC value chain.”Amber Group already has an established presence in Rajpura, where it operates a sheet metal manufacturing facility catering to multiple components along with an existing R&D Centre. The upcoming facility will further expand its innovation footprint in the state.

The Minister also noted that Amber Group provides solutions for air conditioners and components for several leading global brands, including Daikin, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Hitachi, Fujitsu General, LG and Samsung, Voltas , Godrej etc underlining Punjab’s integration with global value chains.
