DELHI POLICE NABS WANTED ACCUSED IN MAJOR DRUG HAUL CASE

Delhi Police Special Cell, Eastern Range has successfully apprehended a wanted accused involved in the 2024 narcotics haul bust case in which total 1289 Kg of Cocaine and Mephedrone and 39.706 Kg of Thai Marijuana were recovered. The accused, identified as Ritik Bajaj age- 36 years r/o Delhi, was a key supplier of Thailand-origin marijuana and had been absconding since the detection of the case.

Mr. Amit Kaushik, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Special Cell (ER), said, during the course of investigation, Ritik Bajaj was declared a Proclaimed Offender by the Ld. Court on 19.05.2025 after repeatedly evading arrest. Based on sustained efforts and coordination at the international level, a Red Corner Notice was issued against the accused and the requisite information was shared with INTERPOL. Acting upon the Red Corner Notice, the accused was detained in Dubai by INTERPOL authorities.

A special team led by ACP Kailash Singh Bisht along with Inspector Rahul Kumar and SI Shailesh had deputed to bring the accused back to Delhi. Upon arrival on 23/12/2025. In this case, total 17 accused have been arrested including Ritik Bajaj.
