As a precursor to the Army Day Parade 2026, the Indian Army organised a Special Symphony Band Performance at Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur, captivating a distinguished audience with a refined blend of music, tradition and military ethos. The event was attended by Lt Gen Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command and Mrs Barinder Jit Kaur, Regional President, AWWA, marking the occasion with their distinguished presence.

The performance showcased the musical excellence and rich heritage of the Indian Army Symphony band, enthralling attendees with a carefully curated musical programme that reflected patriotism, discipline and cultural elegance. The event served as a significant curtain raiser to the Army Day celebrations scheduled for 15 January 2026 with Jaipur as the host city.

Adding a unique cultural dimension to the evening was an impressive presentation ceremony by the Army Women’s Welfare Association (AWWA). It highlighted the strength, talent and unwavering spirit of Army families, underlining their vital role in supporting the nation’s Armed Forces.

During the event Rotary Club Jaipur, Jaipur National University and Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Hospital also made contributions to AWWA with economic and mobility aids for the welfare of veterans and Veer Naris.

This memorable evening at Jawahar Kala Kendra set the tone for the forthcoming Army Day Parade 2026, reflecting the seamless harmony between military tradition and cultural expression.
