“KNOW YOUR ARMY” MELA COMMENCES IN JAIPUR

As part of the celebrations leading up to the 78th Army Day, the Indian Army’s Sapta Shakti Command commenced the four-day Know Your Army Mela at Shri Bhawani Niketan Campus, Jaipur. The event was inaugurated by Bhajan Lal Sharma, Chief Minister of Rajasthan, as the Chief Guest, whose esteemed presence added much desired significance and momentum to the bouquet of events. Lt Gen Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command attended the inauguration ceremony along with other senior officers of the command.

The Chief Minister interacted with the soldiers, youth, students and NCC cadets, commending the Indian Army’s unwavering commitment to national security and appreciating its growing technological prowess. His interaction served as a source of motivation for the younger generation, encouraging them to imbibe a disciplined military life and contribute positively to the growth of the Nation.

The display features an impressive bouquet of modern weapon systems, mechanized, artillery and air defence assets, drones, advanced communication equipment and infantry weapons. Interactive stalls and soldier engagement zones witnessed enthusiastic participation from the visitors, fostering closer civil-military connect.
