The Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur witnessed a spectacular celebration of military might and patriotic fervour as the Indian Army hosted “Shaurya Sandhya”, an awe-inspiring evening dedicated to honouring the valour, traditions and operational excellence of the nation’s sentinels in uniform. Held under the aegis of the prestigious Sapta Shakti Command, the event formed a glorious prelude to the Army Day celebrations.

Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command, attended the show as the Chief Guest. In his stirring address, the Lt Gen lauded the Army’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding the nation’s frontiers and reaffirmed the deep emotional connection between the armed forces and the citizens they protect.

The crowd was held spellbound by riveting demonstrations of India’s indigenous martial traditions, including the ancient combat art of Kalaripayattu and the acrobatic vigour of Mallakhamb.

The grand finale, a dramatic Light and Sound portrayal of Operation Sindoor, drew thunderous applause as it transported spectators into the heart of a live battlefield scenario.
