The culmination of the much-anticipated 92nd Janma Jayanti Mahotsav of Mahant Swami Maharaj, the present spiritual head of BAPS, which had resonated throughout the past five months, unfolded in grand splendour in Vadodara.

During the celebrations, officials from Guinness World Records, who had travelled from England, formally honoured Mahant Swami Maharaj. Inspired by Mahant Swami Maharaj, more than 15,000 children aged between 3 and 13 years from the BAPS had completed the full Sanskrit recitation of the Satsang Diksha scripture within one year.

Out of the total children who had completed the recitation, a total of 12,723 children were officially acknowledged by the Guinness World Records authorities for the registration of the record. It is a historic and rare achievement that 15,666 children collectively recited and chanted the entire scripture—comprising all 315 shlokas—within a single year.

A letter of greetings sent by the Union Minister for Home Affairs and Cooperation, Amitbhai Shah, was read out.

Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendrabhai Patel, and the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, conveyed their greetings and received Swami Ji’s blessings. Referring to Jabalpur, the birthplace of Mahant Swami Maharaj, CM Mohan Yadav expressed a sense of pride and joy. Swami Ji blessed all on the occasion.
