ALKA SATIJA FELICITATED ON RETIREMENT AFTER 28 YEARS OF SERVICE

Alka Satija, HoD, Hindi Department in LRS DAV Senior Secondary School, Abohar, retired from the school after 28 years of dedicated, loyal and inspirational service.

The creator of eight books related to student life and teaching, Alka Satija, was honored by Smriti Irani, former Minister of Human Resource Development, Government of India. She is a notable contributor in the field of Hindi literature. These books remain guides for teachers and a source of inspiration for students.

The retirement honor and farewell ceremony organized by the school started with Havan-Yagya. Music teacher Dilip Mathur and fellow teachers gave a melodious and soulful musical presentation on songs composed by Alka Satija. School Principal Smita Sharma said, “Alka Satija ji's 28 years of service has been very proud for the school”.

The Hindi department won everyone's hearts by presenting Satija's golden educational journey in the form of a theatrical adaptation. The stage was conducted by Naveen Sharma. While presenting the citation to Mrs. Satija, the school family expressed its wishes for the good health and longevity of this exceptionally talented teacher.
