Keeping in mind the religious sentiments of the general public, District Magistrate Ashika Jain has declared a holiday on February 6, 2026 (Friday), in all government/private schools, colleges and educational institutions on the road from Garhshankar to Sri Anandpur Sahib Road and Garhshankar to Binewal Road leading to the venue of the event in connection with the state-level function being celebrated on the 649th Parkash Utsav of Sri Guru Ravidass Maharaj Ji at Khuralgarh Sahib, Tehsil Garhshankar.
The orders issued in this regard have clarified that these holiday orders will not be applicable in the schools in which the practical examinations of the board classes are going on.
These holiday orders will also not be applicable in the colleges in which the board/university/college examinations are being held on the said date.
