A blood donation camp was organized today by Narayan Shiksha Vikas Trust at the Sriganganagar Bar Association auditorium. Lawyers participated enthusiastically in the camp, resulting in the collection of blood exceeding the target. Camp project in-charge Advocate Garima Bansal described this an important step towards strengthening social concerns.
The camp was inaugurated by District and Sessions Judge Ravindra Kumar Gakhar. He said that the scope of the Bar and Bench is not limited to court cases alone, but it is also essential to fulfill social responsibilities. He described blood donation as a noble act, which not only saves the lives of others but also helps keep the donor healthy.
The trust had set a target of collecting 100 units of blood, but due to the overwhelming enthusiasm of the participants, a total of 105 units were collected. Advocate Garima Bansal particularly appreciated the women's power, as a significant number of female lawyers donated blood and set an inspiring example.
The Swastik Blood Bank team played a crucial role in the success of the camp. On behalf of the Saksham Foundation, Ravish Jain and others offered the necessary assistance. Rajasthan Bar Council former president Navrang Chaudhary, Bar Association Vice President Arman Setia, former President Ajay Mehta were present.
