ALL INDIA CIVIL SERVICES KABADDI TOURNAMENT HELD

The Department of Sports, Chandigarh Administration successfully organised the All India Civil Services Kabaddi Tournament (Men & Women) 2025–26 under the aegis of the Central Civil Services Cultural & Sports Board (CCSCSB) from 9th to 14th February 2026 at the Basketball Hall, Sports Complex, Sector-42, Chandigarh.

The tournament was formally inaugurated by Sh. Saurabh Kumar Arora, PCS, Director Sports, Chandigarh Administration, who congratulated all participating teams and declared the tournament open after the oath ceremony.

A total of 30 teams in the Men’s section and 19 teams in the Women’s section from various State Secretariats and RSB units across India are participating in the championship.

Other dignitaries present on the occasion included: Dr.Mahender Singh, Joint Director Sports, Chandigarh Administration, Dr.Bhagwant Singh, IYA, Nodal Officer. Sh. Deepak Dahiya, Convenor, CCSCSB, Sh. Ajit Kumar, Chief Referee

Match Results – Day’s Highlights Men’s Section : RSB Dehradun defeated RSB Kochi 32–13. RSB Mumbai defeated RSB Ahmedabad 40–31,  RSB Kolkata defeated Puducherry Secretariat 26–21. Andhra Pradesh Secretariat defeated RSB Hyderabad 46–31. Gujarat Secretariat defeated Uttar Pradesh Secretariat 39–13

Women’s Section: Bihar defeated Chhattisgarh 42–06,  Odisha Secretariat defeated RSB Hyderabad 19–03, The tournament is witnessing enthusiastic participation and high-level competition, reflecting the spirit of sportsmanship and unity among Civil Services across the country.
