RENOWNED CARDIOLOGISTS DELIBERATE ON NEW TREATMENT METHODS

The fourth cardiac symposium, led by senior cardiologists Dr. Mahipat Soni and Dr. Prem Mittal of Tantia Hospital, concluded in Sriganganagar. Dr. Ajit Bana, a renowned cardiologist from North India, and numerous cardiologists from across the country deliberated extensively on new treatment methods. 

(MOREPIC1) Dr. Vishu Tantia, Director of Tantia Hospital, stated that the symposium, held in two sessions, discussed a wide range of issues. Attendees asked questions to the authors and resolved their queries. The symposium also discussed various organs affecting the heart and their associated diseases, including their causes and treatments. 

Key presentations included Dr. Prem Mittal, co-organizing secretary of the symposium, on “Coronary Angiography (CT Scan vs. Invasive Imaging),” Dr. Sahil Jindal on “NOACs” (Novel Oral Anticoagulants), Dr. Chitresh Chahar on “Prevention of ASCVD,” Dr. Atul Dhingra on “Sexual Dysfunction in Male Cardiac Patients,” Dr. Rajesh Jindal on “Management of Arterial Hypertension: Current Issues,” Dr. Suresh Kumar Bajiya on “Guidelines in the Management of ACS,” Dr. Jitendra Sharma on “Complex and Challenging Cases in the Intensive Care Unit,” Dr. Ajit Bana on “Advancing Cardiac Care in the Year 2026: Better Hearts, Stronger Physicians,” and Dr. Abhishek Saxena on “Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy.” Dr. Rajiv Munjal also spoke. 

Organizing secretary Dr. Mahipat Soni expressed his gratitude. The forum was moderated by Dr. Praveen Makkar. The programme also featured Sufi singing by Fida Hussain. A fun quiz, called the Bollywood Quiz, was also a highlight.
