GOVERNOR GULAB CHAND KATARIA VISITS ABOHAR GAUSHALA

Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria, after completing the anti-drug march, reached Gaushala premises and expressed his commitment towards cow service and cow protection.

He performed Gau-pooja and sought her blessings. This intimacy and reverence of the Governor left everyone present emotional. While inspecting the Gaushala premises, the Governor observed the arrangements and appreciated the work being done by the Gaushala Management Committee.

(SUBHEAD)He said that cow service is an integral part of Indian culture and tradition, and the organizations working in this direction are a source of inspiration for the society. He expressed satisfaction after seeing the maintenance of cows, cleanliness, fodder arrangements and medical facilities in the cowshed.

While talking to Gaushala president Fakir Chand Goyal and General Secretary Rakesh Kalani, the Governor said that if there is any demand or requirement related to the operation of the Gaushala, then it should be presented in writing. He assured to make every possible effort to resolve the demands for cow welfare.

The Governor said that cow shelters are not only centers of care for cattle but also a medium for preserving social and cultural values. He also called upon other sections of the society to come forward in cow service work. The Gaushala Managing Committee officials honored the Governor by presenting him a memento.
