The Eye-donation campaign that was dropped due to Covid pandemic a few years back, has been revived.

Anjana Devi Khurana has become the 7th eye donor here in a short span. She was the mother of Kamal Khurana, secretary of the Abohar unit of the All India Arora Khatri Punjabi Community. Kamal is also associated with the “Apna Abohar, Apni Abha” that has so far organised 178 cleanliness and tree plantation camps.

Her family contacted Praveen Chawla. Eye donation was immediately arranged through Dr. Shri Ram Sarelia, SK Phutela and Dr. Kapil Chaudhary. The donation would benefit two needy persons who had already been listed by the non-government activists.

A prayer meeting for the departed noble soul has been fixed for Friday.
