JAKHAR TRUST HOSTS SHRI VAISHNO DEVI YATRA FOR WOMEN

Ahead of Women Day (March 8), the Jakhar Trust has hosted a special pilgrimage for women to Shri Vaishno Devi shrine located in Katra in Jammu and Kashmir.

MLA Sandeep Jakhar today flagged off a group of women devotees to the holy pilgrimage site Shri Vaishno Devi. On this occasion the atmosphere echoed with devotional slogans and cheers.

While wishing all the women a happy journey, Sandeep Jakhar said that with the grace of Mata Rani, the wishes of all the devotees may be fulfilled and the journey should be pleasant and safe. He said that religious pilgrimages give the message of positive energy and unity in the society.

(SUBHEAD)Expressing gratitude to the MLA, the women devotees said that their enthusiasm has increased further due to cooperation and good wishes. They expressed confidence that after paying obeisance at the ancient shrine, they will pray for the happiness, prosperity and prosperity of the area. Many dignitaries and family members were also present on this occasion, who bid farewell to the devotees with wishes for a prosperous journey.

The Trust had earlier organised Teej Mela for women which was attended by thousands of women of all ages and communities. A function was also organised to meritorious students who excelled in Class X exams, most of them were girls.
