The Vibcare Foundation successfully commemorated Founder’s Day at Tagore Theatre, Sector 18, Chandigarh, in honour of its revered founder, Vishwa Bandhu Singhal (3 March 1931 – 24 November 1983). The evening was a heartfelt tribute celebrating his life, vision, and enduring legacy, whose principles of integrity and foresight continue to guide the Vibcare Group’s journey and growth.
The event witnessed the gracious presence of Chief Guest Justice Ajay Tewari (Retd.), Punjab & Haryana High Court, who paid tribute to the founder’s inspiring contribution and values-driven leadership. In his address, he appreciated the Foundation’s continued commitment to upholding the ideals laid down by Late Shri Vishwa Bandhu Singhal and lauded the organization’s efforts in carrying forward his legacy with purpose and dedication.
Sanjay Singhal shared, “Founder’s Day is a moment of remembrance and gratitude for us. It is an opportunity to celebrate the vision and values of Late Shri Vishwa Bandhu Singhal, which continue to guide Vibcare’s journey. With a distinguished singing career spanning over three decades, Sangeeta Melekar has carved a special place for herself in the world of music. Born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, she began singing at the age of 12 and trained under renowned gurus Shri Shivanand Patil and Shri Manohar Chimote. Over the years, she has performed as a lead singer for prestigious organizers including Mahesh Kumar & Party, Chaurang, Amrut Lata of Ashok Hande, Golden Greats, Swara Arts, and Klub Nostalgia. She has shared the stage with legendary artists such as Asha Bhosle, S. P. Balasubrahmanyam, Kavita Krishnamurthy, and Sudha Malhotra, and has performed in shows attended by icons like Shammi Kapoor, Dev Anand, Waheeda Rehman, and Asha Parekh. An internationally acclaimed performer, she has presented her art across the USA, Netherlands, Dubai, Muscat, South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Australia, London, and Israel. Beyond music, she actively supports underprivileged children through the English Medium School (GEV Wada) and launched her YouTube channel in 2021 to raise funds for the cause.
Expressing her thoughts on the occasion, Sangeeta Melekar said, “It is a deep honour to pay musical tribute to Late Shri Vishwa Bandhu Singhal ji.
