LUCC CHIT FUND COMPANY CASE: COURT ISSUED PROPERTY ATTACHMENT NOTICE TO MYFLEDGE DIRECTOR

In the much-discussed LUCC chit fund company case, after a court direction,  the police have initiated action to issue an attachment (property seizure) notice against an accused Shabab Hussain Rizvi. a director of MyFledge, who has been absconding since long.

During the investigation of the case related to the LUCC chit fund company allegedly collecting crores of rupees from investors and fleeing, the police reached Jalaun district and pasted a notice of attachment at the accused’s residence.

Around one and a half dozen cases of fraud have been registered against the company for cheating investors in the name of investment. The first case was registered at Badosarai police station. During the investigation, it was revealed that the accused associated with the company belong to different districts of the state. So far, the police have arrested several accused and sent them to jail, but some names are still on the list of absconders.

(SUBHEAD)Among these absconding accused is Shabab Hussain Rizvi, a resident of Jalaun district, who has failed to appear before the court despite several notices issued by it. Following this, the police have started the process of property attachment under court orders. A team led by Inspector Jayprakash Yadav reached Mohanpura Kabadi Market in the Urai police station area of Jalaun and pasted the notice at the accused’s house.

According to police officials, if the accused does not appear before the court soon, further action such as property seizure and demolition proceedings will be carried out as per legal procedure.
