LPG DOMESTIC CONSUMERS IN ABOHAR HAVE NO PROBLEM

Read in:English

(MOREPIC1)  Raj Sadosh/Abohar.

At a meeting with Sub Divisional Magistrate Ravinder Singh Arora, LPG distributors claimed that there was absolutely no problem in supply of cylinders to domestic consumers. Entire booking was being done online and none complained about any glitch in the system.

They said that LPG cylinders booked online yesterday were supplied today itself. Entries of serial numbers engraved on each cylinder were being made in the consumer passbook. Consumers have been cautioned to not lend the cylinder to anybody else because the cylinder serial number would be checked during the next supply in April or so. The distributors indicated there may be some problem in supply of commercial cylinders as the rules/directions from the higher authorities have to be followed strictly. Misuse of LPG cylinders for commercial purposes can attract action.

The SDM advised the public to not pay attention to rumours and contact the appropriate authority if some problem arises. A video message in this connection has been widely circulated through the social media platforms.
