DAVC OF EDUCATION ORGANISES “CONVOCATION 2026 WITH” SPIRIT OF SHE”

The “Convocation 2026 Spirit of SHE” organised at DAV College of Education, was graced by renowned educationist and motivational speaker Dr. Balwinder Kaur Brar, as Chief Guest. She highly appreciated the institution’s remarkable achievements and legacy.

The convocation ceremony commenced with Saraswati Vandana and Vedic chanting followed by a welcome address by Dr. Vijay Grover, officiating Principal.

(SUBHEAD)Dr. Balwinder Kaur Brar spoke profoundly about the art of living and the joy of teaching, encouraging students to dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to becoming exceptional educators and contributing to a hopeful and compassionate society. Expressing her gratitude to the institution, she conveyed her confidence that the college will continue to achieve new milestones while preserving its rich legacy.

A special highlight of the event was the celebration of women’s empowerment, where eight distinguished women were felicitated with the “Her Story Making Women Award” for their outstanding contributions in various fields. The awardees included Sunita Khungar, Shalu Babbar, Baljeet Kaur, Chanchal Sharma, Navdeep Kalra, Jyoti Verma, Kanchan Rani and Shaifali.

During the grand convocation, a total of 114 students from M.Ed., B.Ed., and D.El.Ed. programmes received their degrees amidst loud applause. The programme was gracefully anchored by Raj Arora and Dr. Ajay Khosla, while the commencement proceedings were efficiently conducted by Dr. Mandeep Kaur.
