INDIAN ARMY AND BHAGWAN MAHAVEER CANCER HOSPITAL SIGN MoU

The Indian Army and Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital & Research Centre (BMCHRC), Jaipur signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking an important step towards strengthening healthcare support for veterans, war widows and their dependents. 

The MoU was exchanged in the august presence of Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command. The collaboration reflects the continued commitment of the Indian Army and civil medical institutions towards providing comprehensive medical care to the veteran community. 

Under the agreement, Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital & Research Centre will extend specialised medical support to veterans, war widows and their dependents. As part of the initiative, essential medical equipment worth Rs 15 lakhs was also donated by BMCHRC to ASHA School, Jaipur, supporting the institution’s efforts towards rehabilitation and care for special children.

The MoU underscores the enduring spirit of military-civil cooperation and reinforces the shared commitment of the Armed Forces and civil institutions towards the welfare of veterans and their families
