The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Chandigarh UT, hosted its Annual Session 2025–26 at the CII Northern Region Headquarters in Chandigarh, marked by a significant leadership transition with the announcement of the newly elected Council for the year 2026–27. Mr Vivek Verma, Managing Director, Spray Engineering Devices Ltd., has assumed office as Chairman, CII Chandigarh UT, while Mr Gurmeet Singh Chawla, Director, Master Trust Ltd., has assumed office as Vice Chairman, CII Chandigarh UT.

A key highlight of the session was the release of the CII Chandigarh UT Annual Report 2025–26, capturing the year’s initiatives, policy engagement, and industry-led interventions aimed at strengthening regional industrial growth and collaboration. The report reflects CII’s continued focus on fostering industry engagement, enabling partnerships, and building a resilient and competitive business ecosystem.

Delivering the special address, Mrs Anjali Singh, Chairperson, CII Northern Region, emphasised the importance of sustained industry-government collaboration, enhancing competitiveness, and advancing a future-ready ecosystem anchored in innovation, skilling, and sustainability. The Annual Session underscored CII Chandigarh UT’s commitment to continuity and renewal in leadership, as it moves forward with a strengthened agenda for inclusive and forward-looking industrial development.
