Abohar/Sriganganagar: The Guru Hargobind Sahib Two-day National Style Kabaddi Competition was inaugurated on Saturday at Gurdwara Sat Kartar Sahib on the occasion of Bandi Chhor Diwas in village 11G Harnia. In this competition of 65 kg category, players of Haryana and Punjab, besides Rajasthan, are also showing their strength.
The competition was inaugurated by Swami Brahmdev ji, the founder and director of Shri Jagdamba Andh Vidyalaya. He said that Kabaddi is the main game of rural environment. With this game, where the youth stays away from drugs, the morale of the youth increases towards sports. Therefore youth should be attracted towards sports. Most of the youth of today are going astray towards drugs, the main reason for this is that the interest of youth towards sports is decreasing.Swamiji said that the Management Committee of Gurdwara Sat Kartar Sahib 11 ji deserves congratulations on such an occasion, who are bringing youth on a good path by organizing such events. On this occasion Balkaran Sahib, head of Gurdwara BudhaJohad Sahib said that youth should play every game with the spirit of sports. Winning and losing are two sides of the same coin. Wins and losses should not bring hatred to the players.

This time it is being competed in the 65 kg category players. The two-day Kabaddi tournament will conclude on Sunday, November 7.
