Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that farmers would be compensated by conducting special girdawari in places where extensive damage of crops has occurred due to excessive rainfall. The Chief Minister was responding to queries from mediapersons during a programme in Yamunanagar on Friday.
Significantly, it had rained all over the state in the past few days. The Chief Minister said that the rains have been actually good for the crops and the loss has been less, but still, if there has been damage due to excessive rain then compensation will be given by getting Girdawari done there. The loss to the farmers will be compensated.
