Punjab State U-25 years Men’s Team for Col.CK Nayudu Trophy 2021-22 played their second Inter-State match against Jammu & Kashmir at Arun Jaitely Stadium, New Delhi.
Jammu & Kashmir won the toss and elected to bat. Batting first J&K bundled out for 320 in 100.2 overs in their first innings. MusaifAjaz 112 off 185 with eighteen boundaries and Sahil Lotra 62 off 115 with nine boundaries were the main run-getters for J&K. Aryaman Dhaliwal 3 for 68 and Gurnoor Brar 3 for 73 were the most successful wicket takers for Punjab.
Replying, Punjab declared their innings 690 for 5 in 134.2 overs. Sanvir Singh 233 off 261 with thirty-three boundaries and three sixes, Pukhraj Mann 182 off 285 with 21 boundaries and five sixes, Vishwa Pratap Singh 87 off 143 with twelve four and two sixes and NamanDhir unbeaten 102 off 78 with seven boundaries and five sexes were the main run-getters for Punjab in their first innings. Lone Nasir Muzaffar 2 for 55 and Taizeem Younis Tak 2 for 201 were the most successful wicket-takers for J&K
Jammu & Kashmir in their second innings bowled out for 345 in 100.5 overs. Shubham Singh Pundir 99 off 171 with fifteen boundaries and Henan Nazir 74 off 91 with fourteen boundaries and MusaifAjaz 65 off 116 with seven boundaries and one six were the main run-getters for J&K.Aryaman Dhaliwal 5 for 92 and Vishwa Pratap Singh 3 for 26 were the most successful wicket-takers for Punjab. With this Punjab won by first innings l and 27 runs.
