Feeling “disappointed” over no-response from the AAP leadership to his fortnight-long demand to present the Report Card of development work done in Abohar during the past 4.5 years, MLA Sandeep Jakhar observed that AAP Govt. shying of presenting “Nil” Report.
Interacting with the media here today, in the presence of Mayor Pooja Wadhwa, Senior Deputy Mayor Dharamvir Malkat, Councilor Sonia Middha, the MLA said that the present govt. had chosen to leave construction of Veterinary College at village Sappanwali, Mega Water Supply project at Patrewala, Fishery at village Killianwali, Mini Secretariat, Nehru Stadium and Bus Stand at Abohar incomplete. CM Bhagwant Mann had last year inaugurated the Drinking Water augmentation project at Abohar but the machinery wrapped by plastic covers was gathering dust. Funds for Municipal Corporation schemes were not released. No regular Administrator for the MC was appointed for the past three years.
He said that the Deputy Commissioner having additional charge of MC Commissioner has not visited the Corporation after the BJP won the election three months back, files for development schemes were not sent to the state headquarter to avail funds. Even the old files were yet to be cleared.
The MLA said that “Yudh Nashian Virudh” was a farce, law and order situation was not under police administration’s control. People were now looking with hopes towards BJP’s anti-drug campaign.
