Abohar: Under the auspices of Shanti Kunj Haridwar, Gayatri Shaktipeeth Nihalkhera and Akhil Vishav Gayatri Parivar Seva Samiti organized a huge Deepmala on the eve of 24 Kundiya Gayatri Mahayagya that was held at Shri Arorvansh Dharamshala.
Among those present were Chander Singh senior official of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Ferozepur, Mohit Kumar Fazilka and Yogi Sukhram. All the saints including Sukhdev Shastri, the senior worker of Shanti Kunj, who came to conclude the Mahayagya, were honored by Vipan Nagpal, Anil Nagpal, Fakir Chand Goyal, Parmanand Dhuria and Dhanpat Siyag.(SUBHEAD)
After garlanding the divine Amrit Kalash, the guests performed the Yajna and prayed for peace across the world. Sukhdev Shastri, while giving initiation of Gayatri Mantra to all the 72 couples, said that Acharya Shri Ram Sharma, after doing extraordinary penance, made Gayatri Mantra accessible to all sections of every society. Especially women were freed from the ban imposed on reciting Gayatri Mantra. This is the biggest example of Acharya ji's women awakening campaign.
