SAPTA SHAKTI COMMAND CONDUCTS YOGA SESSIONS

Abohar: As a prelude to International Yoga Day, Sapta Shakti Command conducted Yoga Sessions at various military stations in its area of responsibility. The aim of the Yoga sessions is to create awareness about Yoga and its holistic benefits toward a healthy lifestyle.

The embodiment of unity and harmony resonated through the air as Sapta Shakti Command organised its first collective session at the lawns of Headquarter South Western Command, in Jaipur Military Station, at Itarana Palace, Alwar and various locations at Bathinda, Sriganganagar, Bikaner, Kota, and Hisar.

The Yoga Guru began the session at Jaipur by explaining the benefits of Yoga to the gathering followed by a practical session in which the various ‘Asanas and their benefits were elucidated and exercises were conducted. The importance of discipline and harmony between the mind and the body was reinforced to all the participants who were unanimous in acknowledging the benefits of Yoga, a gift of India to the world. All ranks and their families joined enthusiastically in an expression of desire to live a healthy life laced with mutual respect, regard and bonhomie.
