CASES COMING TO FORE IN REVISED RESULT OF CLERK RECRUITMENT BEING PREPARED ON ORDERS OF HIGH COURT, GOVERNMENT SHOULD DISSOLVE HSSC FOR DECLARING RIGHT ANSWERS AS WRONG

(MOREPIC1)   Chandigarh (Face2News)

Senior Congress leader and former Union Minister Kumari Selja said that the revised result being prepared of clerk recruitment shows that the BJP-JJP alliance government was openly running a 'Job on Sale' showroom. While selling the jobs, the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) declared the right answers as wrong. The matter was acknowledged by the Punjab and Haryana High Court. Now on the orders of the High Court, HSSC was again preparing the merit of clerk recruitment.

In a statement issued to the media, Kumari Selja said that during the seven-and-a-half year rule of the BJP, not even a single recruitment had been conducted by the HSSC or HPSC, which had not been in controversies.

Either the exam papers taken for the recruitment were already leaked or later the recruitment process kept getting challenged in the High Court. This was the reason why the High Court, while making sharp remarks, canceled many recruitments and ordered to run the process afresh. The former Union Minister said that the State Government kept on bargaining for jobs on a large scale under the guise of giving the slogan ‘Bina Kharchi, Bina Parchi’. Discussions about selling of jobs in the state were common these days, she added.(SUBHEAD)

Kumari Selja said that different prices were being charged for all the work including providing the papers of the recruitment, passing the examinations and getting the names included in the interview and final list. In view of the ever-increasing unemployment, people were also forced to sell land, fields, plots, houses in the desire of getting government jobs for their children.

The former Union Minister said that by preparing wrong results, the HSSC first got the youth to join the post of clerk and now the results were being prepared again, then again cases of fraud were coming to the fore. It was clear from this that HSSC had become a bastion of corruption. No recruitment takes place there without money. She said that earlier the transparency of HPSC had already been exposed by the arrest of its deputy secretary and recovery of crores of rupees. Kumari Selja demanded the state government to dissolve the HSSC with immediate effect, so that the credibility of this recruiting commission could be improved in the eyes of the youth.
