LUDHIANA RESIDENT BOOKED ON DUPING CHANDIGARHIAN IN PRETEXT OF PROVIDING FLAT IN KANDAGHAT

A case FIR No. 93 dated 01.06.2022 U/S 420 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of Dr. R.S. Sachdeva R/o 2030, Sector-15C, Chandigarh against Amanpreet Singh Sodhi R/o # 9, Shakti Nagar, Ludhiana, City Raikot (Pb).

The complainant alleged that he booked a flat at Kandaghat Solan (HP) on 01.05.2012 through Prithvi Infradevelopers, New Delh.

He had paid the full amount of flat on 09.11.2016, but due to some problems with the promoters Amanpreet Singh Sodhi he was willing to refund the whole amount of said flat with interest and he also issued an affidavit in this regard on 14.03.2018. But despites repeated telephone calls and requests, he is not willing to give the amount. Thus, the alleged Amanpreet Singh was neither given the possession of the flat nor returned the money to the complainant .

Investigation of the case is in progress. No arrest has been made so far.
