BSF OBSERVED “INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINST DRUG ABUSE AND ILLICIT TRAFFICKING” WITH NCB AT ATTARI BORDER

“International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking” was observed at all establishments of BSF, in which various programme i.e. Oath taking ceremony, awareness against drug for local Public, rally, etc. were organized under various sectors of BSF in Punjab on Sunday.

On this occasion, an oath taking ceremony on ‘Nashe se Azadi’ was organized by Border Security Force and Narcotics Control Bureau jointly at JCP Attari, Amritsar.(SUBHEAD)

The programme was graced by the presence of Shri Gyaneshwar Singh, IPS, DDG North region, Shri Amanjit Singh, IRS, Zonal Director NCB Chandigarh and Sh Asif Jalal, IPS, IG Frontier HQ BSF Punjab. An oath was taken by all force personnel as well as visitors, who witnessed the “Retreat Ceremony”.

A skit regarding 'Nashe se Azadi' was also performed at JCP stadium.

Sh Jasveer Singh, Arjuna Awardee (Kabaddi Player) was also present on this occasion. He witnessed Retreat Ceremony Parade, greeted the audience and addressed his message. Further he visited BSF Attari museum and BP No. 102/M.

BSF is always making efforts to make people aware against drug abuse.
