On the occasion of “Drugs Abuse and Illegal Trafficking Day”, the police staff of South-East District has inaugurated Delhi Police Public Library for providing an environment full of resources like books, wi-fi to school going children and help them further to prepare for competitive exams.

Besides, a child friendly room has also been inaugurated at the same venue for the children so that they can get a much safer environment and enhance their inquisitiveness simultaneously under the trained staff. Total 75 bicycles were distributed among the girls of marginalized sections belonging to all the police stations of Southeast district by Smt. Esha Pandey DCP/SED and in collaboration with Lajpat Nagar Market Traders association and Okhla Traders association so that they can easily visit their educational institutions.

As a part of community policing, the police staff will continue to work with the same zeal in collaboration with various welfare associations by introducing such initiatives time to time.
