ARTISTS MAKE 'YEH SHAM MASTANI….' UNFORGETTABLE

Abohar: On the birthday of famous Hindi film music composer Rahul Dev Burman (Pancham Da), RD Burman Fans Club (RDBFC) organized 'Yeh Sham Mastani…' program to pay tribute to him at Black Panther Hotel Banquet Hall last night. Sanjay Mundra, Ghanshyam Rajpurohit and Parvinder Loona were the chief guests. Singers and musicians from Sriganganagar, Bikaner, Fazilka, Nabha and Dhuri enthralled by singing the songs composed by Burman.

(SUBHEAD)Rajesh Riaz, Sunidhi Nayak, Tarun Anand, Ajit Singh Panwar from Bikaner, Mannat Thakral from Fazilka presented beautiful songs. Mintu, a saxophone artist from Dhuri, stunned a lot. Young artist Jayant Aggarwal performed on guitar, Chand Suleman on Drums, Rajesh on Tumba, Jafri on Madal, Rhythm Guru Sunil Maurya on Congo, Sunil Kumar on Octo Pad, Ravi on Guitar, Dheeraj Bharti on Keyboard.

The music composition was led by Manoj Arya. A large number of dignitaries got euphoric. The coordinator Shailendra Singh Chauhan used percussion. Chief guest Sanjay Mundra could not stop himself. He also performed two songs on the live orchestra. Impressed by the talent of young artist Jayant Agarwal, the chief guest announced to gift him a guitar.

Akshat Pandey, father of famous Bollywood singer Pavani Pandey, who came from Mumbai also stunned the audience with his powerful melodious voice. Shyam Goswami, Rajesh Jain, Gopal Mittal, Advocate Manju Pandey, Narendra Changiya, Jagirchand Farma and Dr. Shailesh Goyal offered flowers on the portrait of RD Burman.

RDBFC President Sanjeev Lohia and Secretary Dr. Kusum Jain expressed vote of thanks. The stage was conducted by Lalit Doda and Prem Chugh.
