A police team comprising ASI Chandveer Singh, HC Vipin GIri & HC Parveen under the supervision of SHO/New Usmanpur was patrolling in the area of New Usmanpur. At about o4:00 PM when the police team reached near masjid in OLD Garhi Mendu Village, foul smell similar to liquor was felt. On further enquiry, the police team knocked at the door of a nearby house which was replied by a person later identified as Shyam R/o Firozabaad, UP, age-26 years.
Mr.Sanjay Kumar Sain, IPS, DCP, said, the door was opened, the smell became stronger causing suspicion. During superficial search, a plastic drum full of illicit liquor containing approximately 220 liters, blended at same place, 50 sealed quarter bottles of ADDS Motta Liquore, marked as For sale in Haryana, 02 plastic container containing chemicals 32 Kg each, 01 plastic container of 05 liters chemicals, required in blending the illicit liquor, 02 gunny bags full of empty bottles, 02 packets full of caps, Stickers of different liquor brands, 3D hologram stickers, a machine to seal the bottles and One scooty DL -5S BC -3600 used to supply the illicit liquor were recovered from the place.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 667/22 u/s 33/35 Excise Act, PS New Usmanpur, Delhi was registered and Shyam R/o Firozabaad, UP, age-26 years Further investigation is going on.
ARRESTED PERSONS: Shyam R/o Firozabaad, UP, age-26 years. Previous Involvements- Nil.
RECOVERY: One Plastic Drum containing approx. 220 liters of illicit liquor. 50 quarter bottles of illicit liquor make, “ADDS Motta” For sale in Haryana. 02 Gunny Bags Full of Empty Bottles. Other chemicals/colour 05 litrs. + 32*2=64 Kg used in manufacturing liquor., A Machine used for sealing the bottles. One scooty DL -5S BC -3600, it was using for supplying illegal liquor. Stickers of different brand of illicit liquor., 3D Hologram stickers. 02 Packets approx 500 new caps of bottles.
