BHICKY ASHWAJIT WIN BOYS U-18 DOUBLES TITLE; RABIAH BAGS GIRLS U-12 SINGLES CROWN

Aniruddh Sangra and Bhicky Sagolshem advanced into finals in the Boys under-18 singles of the CLTA-AITA Championship Series (CS-7) Tennis Tournament for Boys and Girls under-12 and 18 at the Sector 10 Tennis Stadium here today.

.Fourth seed Aniruddh upset second seed Yagna Pradip Patel in straight sets 6-4, 6-4. Aniruddh maintained his momentum throughout the match. Aniruddh played solid game from the baseline to beat Patel in straight sets without getting much pressure.

In the second semi finals third seed Bhicky Sagolshem won from Svarmanyu Singh in straight sets. Bhicky played high level tennis in the first set and won at 6-1. in the second set both players played high intensity tennis, finally Bhicky used his experience and closed the set and the match 6-3.

Riya Kaushik and Vanya Arora entered finals in the girls under-18 singles. Vanya defeated second seed Radha Sadhra 6-3, 5-2 (concede) in straight sets. Vanya will play against top seed Riya Kaushik in the Girls under-18 singles final tomorrow. Top seed Heet Kandhoriya and Aarush Jain advanced into the title round in the Boys under-12 singles.

Second eed Rabiah Dullet lift girls under-12 singles title. Rabiah defeated Ananya Sharma 6-3,6-2 in straight sets.

Bhicky Sagolsem and partner Ashwajit Senjam won the boys under-18 doubles title. In the boys under-12 doubles finals, Ranbir Singh and Heet Kandohriya defeated Prabhroop Kalsi and Ribhav Saroha 6-4, 6-4.

Boys under-12 singles (s-finals): Heet Kandhoriya [1] bt. Ranbir Singh (Q) 6-0, 7-6(2), Aarush Jain bt. Ashwin Chauhan 6-0, 7-5.

Girls under-18 singles (s-finals): Riya Kaushik [1] bt. Bhumi Kakkar 6-1, 6-1, Vanya Arora [7] bt. Radha Sadhra [2] 6-3, 5-2 (concede).

Girls under-12 singles (final): Rabiah Dullet [2] bt. Ananya Sharma 6-3, 6-2.

Boys under-18 doubles (final):Bhicky Sagolsem / Ashwajit Senjam bt. Aanirudh Sangra / Arnav Bishnoi [2] 7-5, 6-3.
