The Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRS-PTU), established by the state govt. at Bathinda will provide a golden opportunity to students to boost hands on practice and start-up culture among the students with establishment of BCL-AICTE IDEA lab in the university. MRSPTU is the first university in Punjab to have the BCL-AICTE IDEA Lab.
This was stated by renowned academician and administrator MRS-PTU, Registrar, Dr. Gurinder Pal Singh Brar at a press meet here today.
Dr. Brar said technical education plays a vital role in human resource development of the country by creating skilled manpower, enhancing industrial productivity and improving the quality of life of its people.
“At times of impending the 4th industrial revolution with consequent disruptions in both technologies and technical education, we are committed to provide up – to – date technical education and training to enlighten and train young minds to uncover their talent to harness new emerging avenues and opportunities,” he said.(SUBHEAD)
Dr. Brar said the University provides environmentally friendly cutting-edge Technology and promotes the use of science and technology for bolstering our development and national growth.
He further said the university will help the students of Punjab in realising dreams in Higher education, getting prestigious jobs in Government sector and studying abroad through various pathway programmes initiated by the premier University. All Central and state government scholarship and welfare schemes are available in the government university, he said. Punjab Chief Minister Scholarship for Meritorious Students up to 100 percent fee waiver is another big advantage for brilliant students.
Dr. Brar and Er.
