PUNJAB YOGA ASSOCIATION COMMITTED TO SPREAD THE POPULARITY OF YOGA:DR. ANIRUDH GUPTA

The 46th Punjab State Yogasana Sports Championship was organized by Punjab Yoga Association at DCM Presidency School, Ludhiana today in which more than 350 participants from across Punjab participated in different age groups.

Punjab Yoga Association office-bearer Vishal Goyal said that participants from Ferozepur, Ludhiana, Mohali, Rupnagar, Muktsar, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Moga, Hoshiarpur and Patiala districts participated with enthusiasm in the age group of 8 years to 45 years.(SUBHEAD)

(MOREPIC2) The program started with Ganesh Vandana lamp lighting followed by the address of Dr. Anirudh Gupta, President Punjab Yoga Association and said that its a matter of immense pleasure that the popularity of yoga is increasing day by day, not only in India but all over the world. He said that to lead a healthy life, we all should include yoga in our daily lifestyle. He said that all the members of Punjab Yoga Association are working day and night to popularise yoga so that yoga reaches to every household.

(MOREPIC3)(MOREPIC4)  He told that this year, from October 28 to October 31, a national yoga competition would be organized in Punjab's Ferozepur city under junior and sub-junior categories, in which more than 1200 players from all over India would exhibit their art. He appealed to all the people present to make this competition a success.

On this occasion, Punjab Yoga Association officials and judges Vishwabandhu, Vishal Goel, Anita Kumari, Pradeep Kumar, Baljit Singh, Makhan Singh, Gurvinder Singh, Sanjay Kumar, Rupa Bask, Amarinder Singh, Sunil Kumar, Rajesh Kumar, Sarabjit Kaur, Vikramaditya Sharma and others were present.
