NON-BAILABLE WARRANT AGAINST ACCUSED IN ANOTHER HURT CASE WAS ALSO PENDING, EVADING ARREST FOR THE LAST 5 MONTHS.

The Anti Gangs Squad (AGS) of Crime Branch has arrested one desperate accused Prince @ Vijay Nepali, 24 years r/o JJ Colony, Dwarka, Delhi from Sector-11, Dwarka. He was wanted in a murder case. wherein, on 20.5.2022, He and his associates attacked one Vikas Yadav, a History sheeter of PS Bindapur, beaten him mercilessly and stabbed him multiple times.
On 21/05/2022, Vikas Yadav succumbed to these injuries during treatment. Accused Vijay Nepali was the mastermind of the above incident and was at large after the incident.
Acting upon a secret input developed by ASI Gobind and HC Rahul, a team of AGS, Crime Branch comprising of ASI Gobind, ASI Virender, ASI Kuldeep, ASI Rajesh, HC Rahul, HC Vikas and Ct Ashok under the supervision Inspr. Pawan Kumar & Inspr. Rakesh Kumar and overall supervision of Sh. Naresh Kumar, ACP/AGS.
Mr.Ravindra Singh Yadav, IPS, Special Commissioner of Police Crime Branch, DelhiFor the last few days, the team was continuously working on the information about the whereabouts of one notorious criminal Prince @ Vijay Nepali, however, he was changing his address and location frequently.
Based on technical and manual surveillance, his location was zeroed in Sun View apartment, Sector-11, Dwarka, Delhi. After confirmation of his presence, staff was deployed at all possible escape routes. On sensing that the accused had been trapped, he tried to flee through the service pipes of the building but was caught by the team. –(SUBHEAD)
The accused Prince @ Vijay Nepali was born in Delhi in the year 1994 and studied up to 10th class in a Senior Secondary School at Sector-03, Dwarka. His father (expired a month back) was a mason, his mother used to work as a maid in Dwarka Societies. He had changed many jobs in the near past including cleaner at a renowned Hotel in Dwarka, in a stationery shop, as a daily wager etc.
He had also worked with an event management group for about 06 months. During that period, he started getting involved in petty crimes and was arrested for the first time in 2017. Thereafter, he came in contact with criminals and started committing highway robberies/Dacoities.
In 2017, he was again arrested in a dacoity case. He was also involved in other crimes, as he along with his associates used to indulge in fights with other local criminals to establish their influence in the area.
In past, the deceased had fired upon one Ajit Pandey, an associate of Prince. In revenge and to assert their control over the area, Prince along with his associates planned to eliminate Vikas Yadav and on 21/05/2022, they executed their plan by stabbing the deceased.
Accused has also not been attending Court in FIR No. 150/2017 dated 13/03/2017, u/s 325/452/323/34 IPC PS Bindapur, Delhi and Non-Bailable Warrants against him were issued by the Court. He was involved in at least seven cases registered in different Police Stations.
