POOJA ARYA WINS CHANDIGARH WOMEN'S CHESS TITLE

Pooja Arya won the Chandigarh Women’s Chess Championship 2022 with four points. The tournament concluded today at the Chandigarh Baptist School Sec-45 D here. The second and third position was bagged by Samaira Taneja and Shereen Makroo respectively, both scored three points each, and the fourth position went to Aayra Singh with 2.5 points points. The Championship was organised by Chandigarh Chess Association.

The winners have been selected to represent Chandigarh in the MPL 48th National Women Chess Championship 2022 in Maharashtra from Novemver 8 to 18.
